You'll need two permits: the Annapurna Conservation Area Permit (ACAP) and the TIMS (Trekkers’ Information Management System) card. These can be obtained in Kathmandu or Pokhara.
Teahouses and lodges are available along the trail, offering basic rooms with shared bathrooms. The facilities are comfortable but may be simple, so it’s advisable to bring your own sleeping bag for extra warmth.

The trek starts from Nayapul, which is about a 1.5 to 2-hour drive from Pokhara. You can take a private vehicle or local bus to reach Nayapul and begin the trek.
